Some conservatives have finally awoken to the fact that THEIR civil liberties may be in jeopardy--not just the poor, minorities, and non-Americans, but true-blue Americans like themselves. According to Michael Hammond, a consultant with Gun Owners of America, "All of a sudden it became apparent that a lot of people could be made noncitizens," he said. "We're very concerned about that. The whole thing is Orwellian."
